At New Rochelle High School, we strive to challenge our
students by offering them a rich and wide variety of courses and
by creating a climate of high expectation and teacher support.
The Department of Mathematics has responded to the changes advanced
by the State by modifying our curricula and instructional
methodology to provide the most effective instruction possible
in the fashion most appropriate to each student learning style.
We encourage parents to work as our partners by endorsing
academic achievement and by monitoring student homework. It is
in concert with our community, its leaders, parents and
teachers; we strive to fulfill the school's mission
to provide an environment in which each student may achieve
maximum growth, and produce responsible citizens who possess
the intellectual independence to become lifelong learners and
contributing members of a global society.
