downtown arts

Fifty-six New Rochelle High School PAVE Art, Advanced Placement Art, and Art Honor Society students again let their creativity run free to decorate business windows downtown with Halloween-inspired art as part of the Halloween/Fall-inspired Annual Fall Window Painting Program. They painted windows at 23 venues, using a variety of themes, colors, and concepts.

Superintendent Jonathan Raymond thanked and praised students, admiring several of their creations. These seasonal works of art can be seen for the next few weeks; we encourage the community to enjoy the new views!

Participation in the downtown program is just one way the City School District of New Rochelle partners with New Rochelle civic organizations to benefit our community. The event was sponsored by the New Rochelle Chamber Of Commerce in partnership with the City of New Rochelle and the New Rochelle Downtown Business Improvement District.
