New Rochelle High School’s Parents Academy is opening its Community Resource Night to the entire community.

The May 11 event starts at 6:30 p.m. in the rotunda at the high school. Registration is not required. More than 20 community agencies will be on hand to explain their services, how they can benefit the community, and parents’ rights. In addition, there will be a presentation by members of Student Advocacy. These attorneys and former teachers help families resolve issues that include academic performance and disciplinary concerns, as well as issues related to special education or getting in or returning to school.
